Journey

Over 25 years in milestones.

  1. 1999

    edn is founded

    Marcelo and Walter found Eventos De Negocios in Montevideo. The first product — today's eCongressSuite — starts running at international events, with remote rollouts on web servers and no local networks at the client. A decade before the industry would call this model "the cloud".

  2. 2003

    First regional expansion

    The platform reaches Argentina, Brazil, and Chile. A multidisciplinary team of engineers and designers joins.

  3. 2006

    eConventionCenter is born

    eConventionCenter is born, the industry's first system dedicated to venues. From here, edn starts designing a vertical tool for each MICE actor: the DNA of what would later become MICE ERP.

  4. 2012

    5 products become one

    The concept of a single tool for every player in the industry emerges, the products start being unified to avoid integrations, and MICE ERP is born.

  5. 2020

    Pandemic: hybrid events

    The industry reinvents itself. edn accompanies the transition to virtual and hybrid events and expands real-time capabilities.

  6. 2026

    Native AI across the suite

    We bring AI into every product: Ask MICE answers in natural language and intelligent ticket and invoice reading feeds ROI with real spend. AI has been built into the design, not bolted on as a separate module.

  7. Today

    18 countries, 45,000 events

    We operate from Spain and Uruguay with clients across the Americas and Europe. We keep empowering industry leaders with the same conviction — and a team that grows alongside a sector in constant evolution.
